WHAT IS IN STORE FOR YOU IN 2018

WHAT IS IN STORE FOR YOU IN 2018

A GLIMPSE OF UPCOMING YEAR
A curiosity to know about upcoming events in life prevails in everybody's conscious and sub-conscious mind. Won't you like to know what is in store for you?  So, care to peep in Year 2018, on basis of Numerology Readings.

Before proceeding, know your Birth Number and Luck Number.

Your sheer DOB is your Birth Number and sum total of date+month + year makes your Luck Number.

For example, a person  born on 2.7.1981  will be bestowed with Birth Number 2 and his Luck Number will be counted this way  2+7+1+9+8+1 = 28 & gt;  2+8 = 1 ; sum total of it makes 1,hence Luck Number will be 1.

Ruling Planet of this year is Moon.  Number 2 symbolizes all round growth, peace and pleasure.  Persons endowed with Luck Number 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be more comfortable in 2018 as compared to other Numbers.

 NUMBER 1
If you are an individual bestowed with Luck Number 1, Calendar year 2018 is going to be a promising year for you. Last year, you enjoyed bounties from luck; this year too will be quite rewarding for you.
The time is ripe for giving free flight to your imagination and also for putting your plans into action. Some mobility, foreign administrative tours and pleasure trips are also in store for you. With a cool and composed mind, you will be able to devote more time to innovative and aesthetic pursuits as well as social concern issues.
If running year of your age is 1,10, 19, 28, 37, 46, 55, 64, 73 , 82  and so on, you will be comfortable throughout the year.

NUMBER 2
Last year, you had a neutral phase, but in 2018 luck will fetch plenty of favours for you.
Individuals bestowed with Luck Number 2 will find any significant change in their status, but it is going to be outstanding year due to extra support rendered by luck. You may want to change and become a better person. Be ready to face positive changes in the coming year!
2018 is the right time for shifting abroad and also for planning pleasure trips abroad. The time is ripe for reaping benefit of your literary and aesthetic pursuits. You will be able to stretch wings of your imagination wider. Social, domestic and professional life will be peaceful. Social status will be more prestigious.
If you are passing through 2, 11, 20, 29, 38, 47, 56, 65, 74, 83 and so on of your age, circumstances will be favourable.

NUMBER 3
Last year, you faced a neutral status, but this year is going to fetch many wonders for you. It is going to be rewarding year for you. You will be able to focus more efficiently on the projects that you have in hands and might initiate more plans and projects. Social say will enhance. Domestic liabilities will be managed with a peaceful mind. Professional life will be also prestigious.

If running year of your age is 3, 12, 21, 30, 39, 48, 57, 66, 75, 84 and so on, you will still be better gainer and domestic, social and professional status will be prestigious.

 NUMBER 4
Being a person bestowed with Luck Number with 4, you will be able to carry on smoothly in your professional and political career. Some favourable mobility or foreign administrative tour and pleasure trips are also in store for you in 2018. You might earn some recognition in aesthetic and innovative pursuits.

If you are passing through 4, 13, 22, 31, 40, 49, 58, 67, 76, 85 and so on of your age, situations will be manageable for you.

NUMBER 5
If you are an individual endowed with Luck Number 5, will have enjoy a smooth sailing year. This is a neutral year for you. You will be able to focus on your liabilities with a cool and composed mind, but don’t be hopeful for any wonders in 2018.
If running year of your age is 5, 14, 23, 32, 41, 50, 59, 68, 77, 86 and so on, you will be able to have better hold on situations.

NUMBER 6
If you are a person endowed with Luck Number 6, you might enjoy a smooth sailing year in 2018. Social, domestic and vocational liabilities will be managed in a routine way, but don’t be hopeful for any major change in your status.
If you are running 6, 15, 24, 33, 42, 51, 60, 69, 78, 87 and so on of your age, you will have better command over situations.

NUMBER 7
You had a neutral phase last year and liabilities were discharged in a smooth sailing way, but situation will change this year for you. There won’t be any positive change in your status. This is rather an adverse year for luck. It is very important that you make meticulous plans for every important thing that you do. It is better if you don’t initiate any major plans or projects this year. This year is like a life path with many forks in the road. Being adaptable and calculative is essential if you want to pave a smooth path for you.

If running year of your age is 7, 16, 25, 34, 43, 52, 61, 70, 79, 88 and so on, you will be able to handle the situations.

NUMBER 8
If you are endowed with Luck Number 8, you will have a neutral time ahead in 2018. You ought not be hopeful for any major support from luck, but it will be a smooth sailing year and you will feel a bit relaxed after all the turmoil and adversities that you had to face in 2017.

If you are running 8, 17, 26, 35, 44, 53, 62, 71, 80, 88 and so on, year of your age, this year will impart smooth going status.

NUMBER 9
If you are bestowed with Luck Number 9, this will turn out to be a neutral year for you. Don’t expect any major change in your status; this year will be just smooth going for you.

If you are running 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90 and so on, you will have a smooth sailing year.

My English version of Rajasthani Poems of Ravi Purohit ji

THIS LINE OF DESTINY ( PAGE 13)  BHAG REE AA REKH
I am exhausted
Inscribing line of your name
On my palm

But fail to understand
Where I commit lapse

And this line of fate
Does not remain stable
On my rough palms

Now, you only guide me
My mate
How to write you
In my destiny?

AGONY OF REVERIES
(PAGE 15  YADAAN REE PEEDH)
Every time
With mention of your name
Wounds of my heart
Turn afresh
As if
Somebody has
Scratched sappy bruises
Abruptly due to rubbing it
Flows pain of reveries
Drenches, makes sticky
My eyes
My body and soul.

From utterly dry eyes
Starts flowing
Affection of gone days
Drainage of agony
Turns into gurgling streams

I bear
Overflow of your reveries
Innumerable, unfathomable
Still, I am at loss to know
Why this mind of mine
Is reluctant to obliterate you.
All preaching are in vain…..!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------YOU WON’T UNDERSTAND
When your name
Gets inscribed in my heart
You
Are personified
In cores of my heart

When I see droplets of water in your eyes
A full stream sways in my mind
You flaky
What will you understand?
When I scribble your name on paper
A song emerges
And echoing in my ears
Asks me
Why are you so annoyed

How to explain to you
Who does not like to live heartily?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FRAGRANCE OF REVERIES (PAGE 58)  Yadan ree soram

I am submerged
In your reveries
So deeply
My beloved!
It is epochs
Since, I recalled myself.

SCARED  (PAGE 61)  DAR
Mind
Is scared
Abruptly
These days
Of expanse of silence
Lest
This world listens
Your name
Throbbing in my breath.

LOVE

                       LOVE

Don’t categorize love as Hindu or Muslim
Don’t set limits to it
Let the banks break free
Let the river flow unaffected, innocently
Let her converge into ocean
Let her flow liberally, freely, independently
Let her express herself
Don’t let love be dominated and confined
Give wings to love
Give love its own sky
Infinite, unlimited
Give love its own ground
Enormous, wide stretching
Impart love its identity
Gracious, still more gracious
You should know
Love is not mating of two entities in bondage
This is not mutual slavery
Love is emancipation, salvation and commitment
This is not an attire of thorns
This is bouquet of flowers
Flowers that are beautiful
Praise beauty of these flowers
Propagate those values
Values are like flowers
Such a love is fragrant
Such a love is an awakening
It is a lamp, light; it is a dawn
Diffuse its light all around
So that every nook and corner
Of this earth glitters
Love is free unison
Like flowers in bloom
Like flowery lips
Like the Moon and stars of full moon- night

Like rivers flowing fast towards ocean.

REVIEW OF FATHOMING THY HEART

Book Review

Fathoming Thy Heart : Translation of Popular Rajasthani Poetry of Ravi Purohit
Translation : Rajni Chhabra
Edition : 2017, Price : INR 200
Publisher : Kalasan Prakashan, Modern Market, Bikaner (Raj) 334001

Going through the translated poetry collection by renowned litterateur Ravi Purohit “Fathoming Thy Heart” makes me actualize the olden times as if the poet moves carrying the love-odes in the palanquin of words like muslin threads, abysmal into the dictionary of soothing emotional dives.
The intricate sentiments perhaps are a bundle of sensitivity mixed with pure hearted airtime call for his beloved who is around in his breath and aura existing like the air, like the water, like the fire with a cool sense of dedication along with the awaiting dreams whom he is looking to make true in the worldly senses.
The reader gets fully engrossed into the balsam of moon light where the poet is remembering his beloved and wants to tarnish all boundaries by being a forceful meteorite……’in the pretext of her memories’.
Authoured originally in Rajasthani by Ravi Purohit and translated in English ‘Fathoming Thy Heart’is encompassing a whole world in itself where the poet is fascinated by his own craving to be one with his soul - mate who has perhaps caught hold of the sinking nerve of the author while he pleads "O! My beloved, you have taken hold of dusky sun of my life."
The translated work by Rajni Chhabra is quite close to the original work as I could get the privilege of going through the original Rajasthani as well as the translated version of the work. The 'feel' has found its way in the bestest effort to reach its zenith in the work in my hand. The version is splendid by all ways and means and depict upto great extent the spellbound emotions penned by the author in his mother tounge.
The poet inexhaustibly remains engaged in inscribing his beloved’s name on his palm, but fails and the pain turns afresh of the wounds of his heart as the droplets of blood spill around reflecting the image of his beloved all over. The imagery used in the expression is perfect when he ventures into every message of his mobile just to feel the presence of his beloved, perhaps there, if not around him therein.
The extended arms of his beloved make the poet nostalgic of adorable moments; he is forcing himself out of the marshes of worldly boundaries to meet the fragrance of his love circumambulating the temple of his imaginations with the idol of purest of the pure and divine breezes of assured meeting with her.
The poets dives and probes into the turbulent waters of sensitivity declaring himself that "The more I land, the more I settle down very deep, fathomable at times and at times unfathomable too, I am in state of anxiety due to fiery flames in my heart."
He guarantees in himself that ‘Craving is strong, firm is determination.. that we will unite in this world only’. The poet is close to nature while depicting his beloved in the cuckoo’s call, hopeful sparrow, smiling khejri, month of rains….probably where the sun of aspirations rises.
The beauty of the collection is imbibed in the pretty corners of the pink handkerchief with the poet’s beloved’s name crafted upon and an abhorrent fight against the furnace of this world which the poet acrimoniously want to shatter and squeeze with reddened eyes waiting long for his beloved.
The poet is almost drowned into the intimate moments of imagination of love with his beloved when the moon arrives and sits, uninvited subconsciously on his bed making him feel the embrace and warmth of her hug, and the same circulating like blood mingled in his physique making an echo of thy touch with his veins of the deepest core of his heart.
The poet's restless plead to 'her' reflects his ecstasy to get her as his soul - mate, desiring her to be his partner for births and ages when he pens "Now, you only guide me my mate, how to write you in my destiny?"
Can’t stop myself writing that the ‘Amarlata’ is the poet’s pen which inscribes the eternal love and utmost similar feel through his words into the worldly ocean of barrenness, sowing the seeds of hopefulness and deepest feel embossed upon his heart like eternity, infinite as his soul’s craving for his beloved which brings accolades to the poet for the admirable collection which appears more like an albatross in the ocean of hatred all around in present scenario.

'INTERROGATIVE EXISTENCE' / प्रश्न चिन्ह

MY POEM 'INTERROGATIVE EXISTENCE' COMPOSED BY ME IN ENGLISH AND HINDI AND TRANSLATED INTO RAJASTHANI BY SAHITYA AKEDEMI TRANSLATOR AWARD WINNER RAVI PUROHIT JI
O! Mother
Confined in your womb
Scared of my
Interrogative existence
I beseech you
To answer my question
Coz I am a girl
I have become unwanted
Are you ashamed of
Bringing me into this universe?
You would have held your head high
And felt prestigious in society
By giving birth to a guy?
I am a segment of you
Won’t the very thought
Of my extinction
Make you stir and sigh
I may not be able to
Beautify your orchid like rose
Demanding special attention
I will flourish like 'margo'
Growing uncared
Without causing any tension
Bearing life's ups and downs
Won’t cause me frowns
Without me who will appreciate
Consanguinity of brother and sister
Without me who will celebrate
Festivals of Rakhi and Bhaiyaa dooj
How will Durga , Lakshmi and Saraswati
Incarnate on this earth
And without me, the earth's pride
How will groom get bride?
Moved by invoking question of
Entity of the womb
Mother tried to provide her solace
Convincing her with motherly grace
Oh! My yet to be born daughter
I can sense your breath
Your movements and sensation
I am your mother
You are my fascination
It is my sacred duty to generate you
I know only one gist of life
Nurtured on self -less self
Whether it be a girl or boy
Both are equal in mother's eyes
You alight in this world
Safe and healthy
Is my chief concern
Incarnation of creation, power and energy
You flourish in dense shade of affection
I nourish you as firm foundation.

It gives me fathomless pleasure to present before voracious readers on global level, my translated English Poetry Book ‘FATHOMING THY HEART’, originally composed in Rajasthani by Ravi Purohit. He has been honoured by State Level Award 2016, for this wonderful literary work.
I basically write in Hindi, English and Panjabi, but my emotional attachment with Rajasthan motivated me to contribute to Rajasthani Literature as well. I m not very well versed in speaking and writing Rajasthani, but, by Grace of Almighty, have a grasping of this sweet language. I made a humble venture of translating Rajathani poems into English with pious aim of enriching this literature and bringing it into access of voracious readers of English and to make this literature available on global level, so that it can be further translated into other foreign languages
I have spent 35 beautiful years of my life in literary and culturally awakened city of Bikaner, Rajasthan and I feel it my liability that through my efforts, Rajasthani gains global recognition in field of literature. My several poems and short stories translated from Rajasthani into English have been already published in Bhartiya Anuvad Parishad, Indian Literature, a journal of Sahitya Akademi and in several state level magazines and journals, but FATHOMING THY HEART is my first translated Poetry Book from Rajasthani into English.
Ravi Purohit is a well established name in field of poetic creation and translation. He is recipient of Rajasthani Translation Award 2016, by Sahitya Akademi. He has enriched the literary treasure of his mother tounge as well as the national language, Hindi.
I got acquainted with richness of literary attainments of Ravi Purohit, after deeply enjoying his meaningful poems and short stories. He is reputed poet, composing verses with equal command in Hindi and Rajasthani, critic, translator and the Editor of Rajasthalee, a magazine in Rajasthani. I am a diehard fan of his poems. His poems string chords of my mind.
His poetry establishes him as a poet of balanced stance. Reveries of love, pangs of separation, craving to re unite with beloved, craving for union with the Supreme Power, social degeneration, turmoil and turbulence of life, traditions and customs of rural life of Rajasthan are aptly voiced through his poems. He retains the equipoise of a seer or a prophet , who knows so much, sees so much, feels so much and says so much, in words so few. His poetry establishes a direct contact with the reader. Hs poems stir mind and shake numbed sentiments. The poet, gifted with an original brilliant insight adds something new to the tried imageries. His poems create strong mental images by using unusual words and create picturesque effect. When, I read his poems, as if I was under a spell. His poems touched the inner recesses of my heart. While translating these poems, my mind was so captivated and due to deep involvement with these poems, I could unbelievably, finish the whole Poetry Book UTROON UNDHAI KALAJE in a short span of nine days only. I felt, as if Muse of Poetry was holding my hand and make me pen these beautiful, lucid, thought provoking poems.
I have no hitch in saying that for translating these poems, I had to keep aside my Numerology sessions and Numerology write ups for 9 days in continuation. Besides, dedication to this venture would not have been possible without support of my loving and caring family.
I have put my best efforts to retain the soul of original poetry. Reviews of awakened readers will be a great motivational source for me.

GIRLS OF VILLAGE

GIRLS OF VILLAGE
On Shami tree
Growing in vicinity of village
Swing on swing
Sing songs
On ‘Sawani Teej’
Girls of village.

They have totally forgotten
For a short while
Making cow dung cakes
Sweeping house
Coating earthen stove
Making ‘Roti’
And milking cow
Girls of village.

With their friends
Totally absorbed
Discuss
Dance and hop
Return from fair
Relish Jalebis
 Girls of village.

In their eyes
Have blossomed
Vibgyor bloom
Flashing lightning
Down pouring clouds
In their heart
Sways
Zeal of happiness
Girls of village
Live their own self
Many a times.

SCHOOL

SCHOOL
Since centuries
A difference prevails
In speed of children
Moving to school
And in gait while
Moving back home from school.

Tears flowing from
Eyes of child
While going to school
On his maiden day
And history of affection of mother
Sending him to school
Is as true as
Relation of mother and son.

Changing history
Has not gained
New identity till date
Child entrapped in sentiments of
Traditions and law
Still glances once
His mother
And once his teacher.

WHY DO YOU THINK SO

WHY DO YOU THINK SO
Why do you think
That I don’t love you
Roads in streets
Stinking drains
Broken pipe-line of water supply
Fallen electric poles
Bare wires.

Railways crossings getting closed again and again
Traffic over riding one another
Hospitals without medical practitioners
Schools waiting for students
Deserted offices
Temples without worshipper
 Why do you think
That I don’t love.
Cane of police
Proclamation by Sovereign
 Sky touching prices
 Stocks of adulterated ration
Human beings changing their identity
Why do you think
That I don’t love.
Lush green grass in gardens
New buds on trees
 Aroma of earth
Downpours of rain
Peasants ploughing fields
Labourers engaged in work
Sunny/ bright sunshine
Moonlit night
Dunes glittering like gold
Why do you think
That I don’t love.
Factories becoming non-operational
Barren land
Dried ponds
Empty containers in house
Towering deserted havelis
Traders of human beings
Why do you think so
That I don’t love .
Supremacy of God
Agents of ruling authority
Pimps of females
Poor and down trodden
Why do you think
That I don’t love
What to do
I am soldier of pen
I am on target of violence
O! Humanity, I am your adorer.

ROAD
I converted unmetalled pathway into
A smooth tarmac road
So that

Like moss

Road built my myselfPokes fun of me And seems stranger to me now.I am cleaning slippery roadBut now all around have grownPlacards‘ Hard work is meaninglessHowsoever you work hard is less’Like fish stuck in sandLike a wingless bird Restlessness Is shatteringStrong body of mindWounded hands Are cleaning Slipperiness from roadSo that For those who come after meThis road remains in perfect conditionThis road remains clean.ORIGINAL POEM IN HINDI: SANTOSH KHANNA DIDITRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH; RAJNI CHHABRA(WITH HER CONSENT)

I KNOW

I KNOW

I know very well
That I am
Just like you.
But
The only distinction
Between you and me is
That you are fraise
And myself foundation.
The whole world is acquainted
 With your pride and glory
But who listens to
My agony.

Everybody views you
But, I am foundation in this earth
Unfamiliar with all
Who knows me?
But this is a reality
You are fraise
On dint of me only
Because, I bear your utter burden
Your identity
Whole world
My identity
Dense dark life of
Deep earth.

TAJ MAHAL

”Darling! Do packing for tomorrow. We have to take our kids to see Grandfather”
“ What  rubbish you are talking about? You will take children to village? They won’t be able to stay there without A.C., even for two days. Moreover , might catch some infection or disease there. He is your father; you goo and meet him. Who is going to stop you?”
He moved alone to village and met his father. The first question asked by his father was—“Where are my grandchildren?”
“ Pita ji! Children have gone for a school  trip”, said he with downcast head.
Father came to realize very well that he too is now a living Taj Mahal of Affection.

Devoid of Fragrance

Flower is devoid of fragrance
What sort of flower is this
Butterfly is scared of approaching it
What sort of flower is this
Orchid sheds tears on its bloom
What sort of flower is this.
Light of lantern is better
Than the light diffusing from
Tower like pole.
Earthen lamp on pathway is better still.
Which burns
Imparting meaning to light.
This air is unaware of
Problem of ozone
The air is troubled
By mutual malice
Hence, air is poisonous
Hence air is stained
How I wish
This flower to be fragrant
Sweet winds to blow
So that hearts glow.
